We are currently seeking an APMSenior Geotechnical Engineer 1 to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is a full-time hybrid position located in our Seattle, WA office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will:
Prepare and/or review written communications and technical deliverables. Demonstrate and apply technical competence, knowledge of codes and regulations, and professional standards of practice to assigned tasks. Leverage understanding of technical scopes of work for assigned work and their alignment with overall project objectives to deliver quality assignments. Coach, mentor, and direct junior staff to ensure high-quality execution of project tasks, including field activities and preparation of technical reports and deliverables, while facilitating knowledge transfer for team development. Use developing skills to be visible in your discipline by giving internal technical presentations and/or conference presentations and attending external networking events. Lead technical evaluations and modeling calculations related to geotechnical projects. Play a leadership role in developing design drawings and specifications. Conduct construction observation and oversee contractor management under the direction of the Engineer of Record, including quality control documentation and field testing tasks. Plan and perform all work in accordance with company and client health and safety protocols. Demonstrate the companys foundational safety behaviors.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position in Seattle, WA is $95,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market. This role is eligible to participate in the companys discretionary bonus program. This role may be eligible to receive a sign-on bonus.
