About The Role:
The Geotechnical Engineer role involves taking ownership of geotechnical engineering projects from kickoff to completion, overseeing technical execution, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. Apply engineering expertise to develop practical recommendations that address project challenges and drive successful outcomes for public and private sector clients.
- Project Leadership: Oversee geotechnical projects through all phases, ensuring technical quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to project budgets.
- Technical Analysis: Interpret subsurface exploration, laboratory testing, and field investigation data to develop practical, reliable geotechnical recommendations.
- Documentation & Business Development: Prepare engineering reports, project proposals, and cost estimates while contributing to client pursuits and business growth opportunities.
- Client & Project Coordination: Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and subcontractors by providing technical guidance, addressing project challenges, and ensuring successful project execution.
- Team Development: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and staff while fostering a collaborative environment centered on quality, safety, and continuous professional growth.
About You:
- You have aBachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining, or a related engineering field.
- You have 5+ years of related geotechnical engineering experience which preferably includes some extent of project management responsibilities.
- You have or are on track to obtain an Engineering in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license
