Work is conducted in a hybrid model with both in-office and on-site collaboration depending on business needs. Arizona is one of the world's most important copper mining regions, offering excellent access to outdoor recreation, culture, and lifestyle balance.What You Will Do Act as the liaison between the Seismic Advisory Group, site teams, and leadershipReview mine plans and seismic hazard milestones to identify risks and mitigation opportunitiesGuide communication of seismic hazards and integrate findings into management plansFacilitate back analysis of seismic events and ensure lessons learned are appliedMonitor seismic systems, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvementsReview and update TARPs and exclusion protocols with subject matter expertsMaintain and audit the seismic hazard management plan for continuous improvementTrack and report on seismic initiatives and progressPerform other duties as assignedWhat You Bring Bachelor's degree in Geological, Mining, Geophysical Engineering, or related discipline with 5+ years' experience (including lead or supervisory exposure), OR Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of mining, rock mechanics, geotechnical engineering, and seismic hazard controlExperience with numerical modeling and geotechnical software (e.g., Deswik, Power BI)Excellent communication skills and ability to align stakeholdersAbility to travel internationally up to two weeks per quarterPreferred:Underground caving and seismic risk management experienceProject management capabilityFamiliarity with mXrapBase salary range: $95,500–$134,000 (excluding bonus, benefits, and retirement contributions)Medical, dental, and vision coverageCompany-paid life and disability insurance401(k) with employer contributions and matchPaid time off, sick leave, holiday pay, and parental leaveTuition assistanceEmployee assistance programDiscounted insurance options (auto, home, pet)Internal career progression opportunities#J-18808-Ljbffr
