Senior GL Accountant - Data Centers

About the role

We take a unique approach to a partnership by co-creating capital expenditure and real estate strategies with our customers to advance their physical business interests in the digital world and increase per share valuations. 

The Senior Accountant (SA) will provide account support to the Controller. The SA also works in collaboration with the accounting and finance team to maintain accurate financial records through managing all accounts payable and receivable as well as all ledgers.  

What you'll do

• Develops and maintains procedural documentation for the department 
• Manages the month-end process and recommends ways to reduce close timeline 

• Reconciles GL accounts each month, quarter, and year to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance 

• Performs monthly bank reconciliations 

• Prepares documentation for external auditors 

• Assists with the preparation and filing of tax returns 

• 3-5 years of accounting experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field; or equivalent experience as an Accountant 

• US GAAP knowledge 

• Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel; including Vlookups and Pivot tables 

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills 

• Ability to work without close supervision 

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 3-5 years of accounting experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another related field; or equivalent experience as an Accountant 

• US GAAP knowledge 

• Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel; including Vlookups and Pivot tables 

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills 

• Ability to work without close supervision
