Location: Seattle, West Seattle Office Position: Full-Time, Exempt Rate: $85,000-$105,000 About this role Outdoor Research is seeking a team-oriented Senior GL Accountant who will own a wide array of general ledger activities - General responsibilities include overseeing the operational accounting of assigned GLs, financial statement analysis and audit support
- Perform month-end close duties related to COGS and inventory, prepare journal entries, complete reconciliations and analyze balances
- Own the end-to-end process for the quarterly inventory obsolescence reserve and the semi-annual cost roll
- Manage monthly accounting for fixed assets and intangibles, posting journal entries and assessing assets for capitalization and impairment
- Perform accounting duties related to retail stores including posting journal entries, completing reconciliations and preparing management reporting
- Other ad-hoc analysis and reporting tasks as needed
