You'll identify and develop strategic suppliers, negotiate opportunities that deliver value, and help ensure we have the quality, capacity, and supply continuity needed to support our business. This is a hands-on role where you'll work across cultures and functions, build strong supplier partnerships, navigate global market challenges, and turn sourcing opportunities into results. You'll also have the opportunity to travel internationally to visit suppliers, assess capabilities, and build relationships that support our long-term success.

What You'll Do

  • Execute global sourcing strategies that support company objectives for cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
  • Identify, evaluate, qualify, and onboard suppliers across international markets to strengthen and diversify the global supply base.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance, quality, compliance, and delivery.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial agreements, and contract terms in partnership with Purchasing to achieve optimal value and service levels.
  • Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, and due diligence activities, including domestic and international travel as required.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in global sourcing, strategic procurement, supply chain, or purchasing within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing internationally, including supplier qualification, negotiations, tariffs, currency considerations, and global supply markets.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, project management, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Base Compensation Range: $105,700 - $158,700 per year. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of individual factors, including education and experience, as well as internal equity. Benefits: At Romac, investing in our people is a top priority. In addition to competitive and equitable pay, employees are eligible for a quarterly discretionary profit-sharing bonus and a year-end bonus. We also provide comprehensive benefits to support employees and their families, including medical, dental, and vision insurance (with a 100% employer-paid medical plan option for employee-only coverage), a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts (FSAs), an employee assistance program (EAP), paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and cell phone discounts.
