Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Government Cost and Price Analyst to serve as the lead resource for government pricing, proposal development, and cost analysis within a growing business unit. This role will play a critical part in supporting federal contract pursuits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership with strategic financial insights.

In addition to government pricing responsibilities, this position will contribute to broader finance and accounting initiatives including business reviews, controls activities, expense reporting compliance, forecasting, and process improvement efforts. The ideal candidate brings a builder mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in an evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, review, and submission of cost and price proposals for federal and Department of Defense customers
• Analyze labor, material, indirect rate, and subcontractor pricing data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, TINA, CAS, and UCA guidance throughout the proposal lifecycle
• Develop Basis of Estimate documentation and maintain defensible pricing methodologies
• Support DCAA and DCMA audits, fact finding sessions, contract negotiations, and pricing reviews
• Build, enhance, and maintain Excel based pricing models, historical cost databases, and financial analysis tools
• Prepare monthly business review presentations and communicate financial results to leadership stakeholders
• Support budgeting, forecasting, internal controls activities, expense report reviews, and other finance initiatives as needed

Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in government cost analysis, pricing, federal contracting, or proposal development
• Strong expertise with FAR Part 15, FAR Part 31, DFARS, CAS, TINA, and UCA requirements
• Experience supporting DCAA and DCMA audits, negotiations, and compliance reviews
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create and improve pricing models and financial analysis tools
• Experience supporting cost plus, time and materials, and firm fixed price contracts
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working for a Department of Defense contractor or subcontractor
• Background in aerospace, defense, engineering, technology, or government services environments
• Experience operating within an ITAR regulated environment
• French language proficiency is a plus
• Demonstrated success working in a high growth and evolving organization
