Senior GPU Architect, Simulation SystemC, TLM

Join the team developing the simulation foundation used by GPU architects and engineers to build, debug, and validate functional models for next-generation chip architectures. This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining modern C++ development, SystemC/TLM expertise, computer architecture, and close collaboration with modeling teams.

As GPU systems grow in scale and complexity, you will help evolve the simulation environment for multi-die architectures and distributed execution. Your work will improve modeling productivity and make simulations faster, easier to debug, and more capable.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design and implement simulation infrastructure using C++, SystemC, and Transaction Level Modeling.
• Develop solutions for scheduling, concurrency, communication, and synchronization across simulation processes and kernels.
• Partner with GPU architects and modeling teams to enable new features, investigate complex behavior, and improve model performance and reliability.
• Provide technical direction through thoughtful APIs, design reviews, documentation, development tools, and reusable modeling practices.

What we need to see:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with C++ and SystemC/TLM, including the design and debugging of large simulation or modeling systems.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, data structures, algorithms, the C++ standard library, and software design for performance and scalability.
• Experience collaborating constructively across architecture and engineering teams, communicating technical decisions clearly, and supporting colleagues in different locations and time zones.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with parallel or distributed simulation, multiprocess architectures, discrete-event systems, or synchronization between independent simulation kernels will be especially valuable.
• Developing models for major chip programs, building SoC virtual platforms, working with EDA simulation tools, or contributing to large C++ infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with Boost, CMake, Make, GCC, MSVC, Python, Docker, Jenkins, or Perl is helpful. We welcome candidates whose experience comes from adjacent simulation technologies and who have a demonstrated ability to learn complex systems and apply that knowledge collaboratively.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.Applications for this job will be accepted at least until September 27, 2026.
