Location: Onsite – San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 Months


Salary Range: $50.00 - $35.00/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits).

ROLE DESCRIPTION
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Technical Lead Developer with extensive experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC) implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, solution design, architecture guidance, and hands-on development support for enterprise-scale Guidewire transformation programs.
  • This role requires deep expertise in Guidewire application architecture, integrations, configuration, cloud modernization, and Agile delivery methodologies. The Technical Lead will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and product owners to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing insurance solutions.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Technical Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
  • Define technical architecture, development standards, coding best practices, and design patterns.
  • Provide technical mentoring and guidance to development teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire development standards.
  • Drive solution design discussions and technical decision-making.

    • Third-Party Insurance Vendors
  • Develop microservices using Java/Spring Boot.
  • Support Guidewire Cloud implementations and migrations.
  • Build secure API integrations and event-driven architectures.
Delivery & Project Leadership
  • Estimate development effort and support release planning.
  • Coordinate onshore/offshore development teams.
  • Track technical risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, architecture reviews, and release planning.
  • Drive successful delivery of Guidewire implementation and modernization projects.
Quality & DevOps
  • Define CI/CD best practices for Guidewire deployments.
  • Improve test automation coverage and code quality.
  • Support environment management, performance tuning, and production deployments.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root cause analysis.
