Crouse Health is hiring a Senior Hospital Accountant. Schedule:Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Pay Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 / annual Senior Hospital Accountant Position Responsibilities: Accurately documents all financial transactions and properly maintains the general ledger and asset management modules of the organization accounting systems. Diligently reviews, interprets and analyzes monthly budget versus actual revenue to proactively identify variances and resolve in a timely and professional manner. Properly maintains monthly and yearly audits/reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including tracking of construction in progress accounts. Assist department leadership with the preparation of reports and analysis for the organization annual capital budget process. Accurately complete and file the appropriate tax returns for the organization and affiliates. Efficiently coordinate the Capital Review Committee and meticulously track all approved capital purchases. Competently prepare monthly financial presentations and conduct in depth analysis prior to the monthly board meeting. Assumes other duties as assigned by department leadership. Senior Hospital Accountant Position Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field required. Three (3) years of public or hospital accounting experience required. Previous experience with healthcare auditing processes preferred. Working knowledge of general ledger and accrual basis of accounting. Strong knowledge of MS Office and database management.
