Senior HR Business Systems Analyst

Location: Remote (OR, WA, ID, UT, ND)

Role Overview

This role involves participation in the daily activities and projects associated with the development, enhancement, maintenance, support, and testing of Human Resources Information Systems. The objective is to ensure the flawless execution of deliverables, including support for absence management, benefits, data analytics, general HR systems and processes, payroll, and reporting. The position is responsible for ensuring HR data and system outputs are accurate, timely, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the configuration, testing, and data conversion for Workday modules, including Compensation, Payroll, HCM, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Reporting.
• Develop SQL extracts, queries, reports, and dashboards using a variety of systems.
• Define business requirements, model business processes, establish functional system design, and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Provide analysis, consultation, and support for HR systems, understanding business partner needs to provide effective solutions.
• Develop business cases, contingency plans, metrics, training materials, new procedures, and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with IT to define and document detailed business functional system requirements.
• Perform acceptance regression testing and document test expectations and outcomes.
• Conduct post-implementation quality assurance and troubleshooting.
• Deploy project management methodologies on small to medium HR projects.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience: A minimum of five to eight years of experience is required in defining and analyzing business requirements, process modeling, functional systems design, or user acceptance testing. A combination of experience using programming languages, software tools, and various desktop applications is also considered.

Preferred -Healthcare experience

Competencies and Knowledge:

• Success in leading small to medium projects from start to finish.
• Proven success in making decisions regarding data, system enhancements, and solutions.
• Demonstrated ability with system testing, documentation, and communicating key issues.
• Experience developing detailed requirements that result in successful system enhancements or implementations.
• Ability to identify system and data implications of business and system decisions.
• Proficiency in leveraging system functionality to reduce manual efforts.

Work Environment

Candidates must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
