HR Generalist (Manufacturing)
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a proven track record in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and is passionate about supporting employees while partnering with leadership to drive organizational success.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and management, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation
Support employee relations activities by investigating concerns, resolving workplace issues, and promoting a positive work environment
Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries
Coordinate performance management processes, employee development initiatives, and training programs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
Maintain HR records, personnel files, and employee data within the HRIS system
Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and workers' compensation processes
Partner with manufacturing leaders to support workforce planning, retention strategies, and employee engagement initiatives
Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support business decisions and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employment law
Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
Salary: Starting at $70,000+ based on experience
