Location: on-site, Macon, GA, Travel may be required (5%). International travel if necessary.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000/year
Compensation Classification: FLSA Status: Salaried exempt (subject to review based on actual job duties and compensation)
Job Summary:The Senior HR Generalist & Recruiter plays a key role in building and supporting a strong, engaged workforce. This position leads full-cycle recruitment while also partnering with leadership and employees on key HR initiatives, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and policy administration. As a trusted HR partner, this role helps identify and attract top talent, strengthen the employee experience, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with company values. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on problem solver who builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and can confidently balance the day-to-day needs of recruiting with broader HR responsibilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including manufacturing, technical, and professional positions
- Develop job postings, source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs,
- Build recruiting strategies to maintain compensation trends to support team members
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a positive and welcoming new hire experience
- Support employee relations by providing guidance on policies, procedures, and conflict resolution
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies at all locations
- Support HR initiatives such as engagement programs, internal communications, and retention strategies
- Take ownership of metrics related to recruitment and KPIs related to Manager
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate reports as needed
- Perform administrative tasks related to recruiting, employee files, and manager communications
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platform to meet organizational goals
- Assist with administering performance reviews, corrective actions, and policy updates
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in a combined HR generalist and recruiting role
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and full-cycle recruiting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Experience supporting a manufacturing or multi-site workforce
- This position may require extended travel.
Preferred Qualifications- SHRM-CP or PHR certification
