As a Senior HR Manager, you'll own performance management, compensation planning, multi-state compliance, and employee relations while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers across the business. Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic HR business partner to senior leaders and people managers
Lead employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and complex performance issues
Own and improve performance management programs, including review cycles and calibration
Partner on compensation planning, leveling, promotions, and equity refresh cycles
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple U.S. states
Build and scale people programs in onboarding, engagement, retention, and manager development
Manage and mentor a small team of HR or People Operations professionals
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal on workforce planning and policy
Use HRIS and people analytics to surface insights and inform decision-making
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
7+ years of progressive HR experience, with 2+ years managing direct reports
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state compliance
Experience supporting employees and managers in a fully remote or distributed company
Proven track record of leading employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion
Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, Rippling, Justworks, or similar)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret people data and turn it into action
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
Experience at a high-growth startup or scaling tech company
Background supporting technical or sales organizations
Familiarity with global or international HR considerations
