The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused HR professional (Senior Human Resources Administrator) to support a broad range of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, disability and leave administration, performance management, HR transactions, and compliance reporting. This role serves as a key resource for faculty, managers, and staff by serving as first point of contact and providing guidance on HR policies and processes and ensuring compliance with university policies and employment regulations. The ideal candidate for this confidential position will bring a positive, solutions-oriented approach, strong computer and communication skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment. This Senior HR Administrator may serve as the operational lead for specific HR processes and services. Serves as an HR policy and process expert, escalating to more senior HR team members and subject matter experts as necessary. This position is 90% operational and 10% consultative.

Associate Degree and 2 years of relevant human resources experience or combination of education and relevant experience.

aPHR or SHRM-CP / PHR preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, and use a telephone.
Occasionally write by hand, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds, sort/file paperwork.
Rarely kneel/crawl, operate foot and/or hand controls.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Travel on campus to schools/units, out of town.

The expected pay range for this position is $33.53 to $38.95 per hour.
