Position Summary:

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Assistant providing support to Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, Communications. The AFNWC/NC3 Integration Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with an operating location at Kirtland AFB, NM. The NC3 Directorate’s mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. It consists of an Executive Section, Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), the Program Execution Group (PEG) and Intelligence (IN). 

 

This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA.

Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to: 

  • Provide administrative and HR support across a range of personnel actions, taskers, and organizational initiatives.
  • Conduct research, analyze issues, and prepare clear, concise, and fully coordinated written documentation, briefings, and reports.
  • Support senior‑level meetings, reviews, and briefings, including scheduling, preparation of materials, and coordination with participants.
  • Track progress of organizational initiatives and ensure leadership is informed on mission‑relevant issues.
  • Prepare and maintain official documentation such as attendance logs, meeting minutes, action items, and program records in accordance with organizational policy.
  • Disseminate policy updates, guidance, and tasking information across the organization.
  • Manage scheduling and execution of virtual and in‑person meetings, including VTC setup, equipment logs, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide staff support to senior managers by compiling program data, developing background materials, and supporting decision-making processes.
Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

 

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret

Education: Bachelors Degree 

Years of Experience: 7 - 10 years of relevant experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications

Education: MA/MS Degree

Years of experience: 10+ years in DoD/DoW environment, primarily supporting Air Force acquisitions programs

 

Technical Skills

  • Experience with AF Civilian and Military personnel systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, prepare briefings, and support leadership at multiple echelons.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to track deadlines, taskers, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and maintain professionalism in a high‑visibility environment.
