Our client, an established organization in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This role serves as a strategic HR leader partnering closely with senior leadership to drive talent strategy, workforce planning, and HR initiatives that enable operational excellence and support sustainable growth within a dynamic and high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:
Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term growth plans.
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders on performance management, workforce planning, and team effectiveness, including facilitation and calibration of year-end performance reviews to ensure fairness, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
Lead organizational design and workforce planning initiatives to enhance efficiency, support restructuring, and enable scalable growth.
Lead and support change management initiatives related to organizational transformation, cultural evolution, and leadership transitions.
Develop and execute talent strategies, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development, with a focus on critical technical and leadership roles.
Design and implement leadership development programs and initiatives to strengthen organizational capability and support current and future business needs.
Facilitate talent reviews, capability identification, succession discussions, and workforce planning sessions with business leaders to ensure alignment on key talent priorities and development actions.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to build and maintain strong, forward-looking talent pipelines aligned with future business requirements and growth objectives.
Foster a high-performance culture that promotes accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and leadership excellence.
Coach and mentor leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, enhance team performance, drive employee engagement, and improve retention outcomes.
Partner with leaders to identify organizational capability gaps and implement targeted development strategies that build bench strength and support long-term business success.
Support and facilitate leadership development, talent calibration, and organizational effectiveness discussions to strengthen leadership capability across the organization.
Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance issues, and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Ensure HR programs, policies, and practices are clearly communicated, consistently applied, and effectively adopted across the organization.
Leverage workforce analytics and organizational metrics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and address talent gaps.
Execute additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support evolving business priorities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Masters degree or HR certification (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in manufacturing and/or the oil & gas industry.
Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, change management, and talent strategy.
Knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
Experience working with HRIS systems such as SAP, Workday, or ADP.
Strong strategic HR leadership and business acumen with the ability to connect HR solutions to business needs.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships.
Skilled in organizational and talent effectiveness, employee relations, risk, and compliance.
Experience leading change management and cultivating a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Exceptional coaching, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in using workforce data and HR systems for decision-making.
