Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 base salary

Position Summary

The Senior Human Resources Manager is a strategic HR leadership role responsible for overseeing all onsite Human Resources functions for a large manufacturing facility supporting nearly 300 employees. This position serves as a key business partner to plant leadership while helping drive employee engagement, organizational development, workforce planning, employee relations, and operational effectiveness across a fast-paced multi-shift manufacturing environment.

This role is ideal for an HR leader who thrives in highly collaborative operational settings and enjoys balancing strategic HR leadership with hands-on support for frontline operations. The successful candidate will work closely with plant leadership to help develop talent, strengthen employee engagement, support workforce stability, and maintain a positive culture across the facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all onsite Human Resources functions for a manufacturing facility supporting nearly 300 employees
  • Partner closely with plant leadership, operations, and functional leaders to support business objectives and workforce initiatives
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, workforce development, and organizational culture initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, staffing, and workforce planning activities for hourly and salaried employees
  • Serve as the lead HR business partner for employee relations matters, investigations, coaching, and conflict resolution
  • Support leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and employee growth initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR regulations including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA, and related policies
  • Manage compensation, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation
  • Lead performance appraisal and talent development programs to drive employee growth and accountability
  • Maintain strong visibility on the manufacturing floor and support day-to-day operational needs across multiple shifts
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategy and workforce planning efforts
  • Support safety initiatives and maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
  • Analyze HR metrics including turnover, retention, employee engagement, and workforce trends to support business decisions
  • Coach and support supervisors and plant leadership on HR best practices and employee management
  • Develop and implement HR programs, policies, and process improvements that support long-term operational success


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Labor Relations, or related field required
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong employee relations experience in manufacturing, production, or multi-shift operations
  • Proven experience partnering with operational leadership teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, HR compliance, and workplace investigations
  • Experience leading performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience supporting hourly workforces and frontline leadership teams
  • Ability to balance strategic HR leadership with hands-on day-to-day execution
  • Comfortable working onsite within a manufacturing environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing or food manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred
  • Experience supporting highly tenured or multi-generational workforces is a plus
  • Experience leading HR initiatives in 24/7 operational environments preferred
