    Job Description

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelors degree. A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in developing and implementing IT initiatives, strategic planning and establishing business requirements is required. OR A minimum of four years of experience in HR operations, such as recruitment/hiring, payroll, employee benefits or Labor to include IT applications or systems is required. Additional work related experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

    Recruitment Notes

    This position serves as a subject matter expert in HR operations, providing advanced analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex human resources and payroll issues. The incumbent provides guidance to departmental liaisons, ensures compliance with applicable laws, County policies and procedures, Personnel Rules, and Collective Bargaining Agreements, and ensures HR business processes are effectively supported by County systems, such as INFORMS. The position also provides leadership, supervision, and mentoring to HR Operations Analysts while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and service delivery.

    Benefits Overview

Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the Florida Retirement System (FRS), which requires a 3% pre-tax employee contribution.
