C2 is seeking a Senior Human Resources Specialist to support client organizations, including federal contractors, by providing experienced HR guidance and operational support. In this role, you will work closely with internal HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance teams to support client organizations across a wide range of human resources functions. You will interact directly with client leadership and employees while operating within a collaborative team model that delivers HR services across multiple areas. We are looking for a seasoned HR professional who understands employment law, can manage complex HR issues, and works effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR guidance and support to assigned client organizations
- Advise managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices
- Assist Legal Department, addressing employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Support administration of compensation programs including salary structures, merit increases, and incentive plans
- Provide guidance on employee benefits including health, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans
- Assist with development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal HR, payroll, benefits, finance and compliance teams to deliver coordinated client support
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 10+ years of HR Generalist experience in a professional environment
- Experience supporting federal government contractors strongly preferred
- Knowledge of employment law
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working in a collaborative team environment
- PHR, SPHR, or CCP certifications highly desired
