We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician with strong hands-on expertise in HVAC troubleshooting, diagnosis, service, installation, and residential HVAC sales. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in the field, identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate HVAC solutions, and selling and completing HVAC work.
This position offers an opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional to take ownership of customer service, sales, installation quality, and revenue generation while helping establish and grow a residential HVAC operation.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and install residential HVAC systems.
Conduct residential HVAC sales calls and identify customer heating and cooling needs.
Recommend appropriate HVAC repair, replacement, and installation solutions.
Present HVAC options clearly and professionally to homeowners.
Generate HVAC sales and take ownership of the customer experience from initial consultation through installation.
Perform high-quality HVAC installations in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the sales, service, and installation process.
Work independently in the field while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Follow established HVAC sales and service processes.
Track sales activity and performance.
Maintain accurate documentation related to service, sales, and installations.
Use appropriate hand tools and HVAC equipment safely and effectively.
Assist with the continued development and growth of the residential HVAC department.
Work collaboratively with additional installation support when required.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule as needed.
Requirements
5+ years of professional HVAC experience preferred.
Proven residential HVAC experience is required.
Previous HVAC sales experience is required.
Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems.
Ability to independently diagnose HVAC problems and determine appropriate solutions.
Demonstrated ability to sell HVAC repair, replacement, or installation services to residential customers.
Strong understanding of residential heating and cooling systems.
Ability to communicate HVAC recommendations clearly to homeowners.
Basic hand tools required.
Ability to work independently in residential customer environments.
Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation/work authorization as applicable.
