We are seeking a skilled and reliable Senior HVAC Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical building systems. This role is primarily focused on HVAC-R systems, including comfort cooling (air conditioning systems) as well as chillers, cooling towers, refrigeration systems, and gas-fired heating equipment, with additional responsibility for mechanical systems, plumbing, and general facility support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across HVAC-R, mechanical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to independently perform installation, maintenance, and complex troubleshooting in an onsite industrial and office environment.
Responsibilities
Lead installation, replacement, maintenance, and repair of HVAC-R systems, including comfort cooling, chillers, cooling towers, refrigeration equipment, and gas-fired heating systems.
Perform preventive maintenance, system diagnostics, and complex troubleshooting using electrical, mechanical, and digital control principles.
Service and maintain mechanical equipment, including air compressors and compressed air equipment.
Perform plumbing repairs and installations involving piping, valves, drains, fixtures, and pump systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to install, maintain, and modify equipment according to specifications and manufacturer requirements.
Prepare estimates for repair, installation, and replacement of facility equipment.
Ensure work complies with safety standards, applicable codes, and permitting requirements.
Coordinate work with internal teams and external vendors, including fire protection system inspections and required certifications.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Support general facility maintenance and other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
EPA 608 Certification.
Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in HVAC-R, mechanical systems, plumbing, or related facility trades.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience with HVAC-R systems, mechanical equipment including air compressors and compressed air systems, and plumbing systems including piping, valves, fixtures, and pumps.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an industrial and office facility environment.
Knowledge of safety practices, codes, and regulatory requirements.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant trade licenses or certifications.
Experience in industrial and office facility environments.
Experience with CMMS and BMS systems.
