Position Summary
The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Radiology is seeking an Imaging Technologist or Senior Imaging Technologist in our CT division to perform and provide instruction in specialized diagnostic radiography procedures using advanced imaging equipment. This position is responsible for closely monitoring patients throughout examinations while ensuring high-quality imaging outcomes. In addition, the Imaging Technologist performs general radiography procedures across a variety of clinical settings, including Adult and Pediatric Radiology, the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, Fluoroscopy, and Orthopedic Clinics.

Current certification or eligibility for certification in diagnostic procedures by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current Permit to Practice issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health for all radiographers operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment
Desirable Qualifications
Previous work or clinical education experience in a level 1 Trauma center
Previous work or clinical education experience in CT
CT modality training
CT certification or eligible
