Senior Imaging & Testing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating and optimizing monoplane and biplane fluoroscopy imaging systems to support R&D and bench-top device testing.
  • Supporting advanced imaging applications, including 2D and 3D angiographic visualization, vessel road mapping, and imaging acquisitions.
  • Performing system setup, calibration, software updates, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.
  • Coordinating with vendors and technical service providers to resolve equipment issues and maintain operational readiness.
  • Maintaining imaging system documentation, compliance records, and medical physicist reports.
  • Preparing, assembling, and maintaining in vitro vascular models used for device evaluations.
  • Supporting simulated-use testing, proof-of-concept studies, design verification activities, physician events, and product demonstrations.
  • Providing technical expertise on imaging workflows and endovascular procedural techniques during device evaluations.
  • Maintaining laboratory organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
  • Supporting the inventory of bench-top testing supplies, consumables, and laboratory equipment.
  • Ensuring testing spaces are appropriately configured for R&D activities, physician events, and internal training.
  • Promoting a culture of safety and compliance within all laboratory operations.
  • Supporting radiation safety programs, dosimetry monitoring, PPE compliance, and ALARA practices.
  • Ensuring laboratory activities comply with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for fluoroscopic imaging systems and angiography suite operations.
  • Providing guidance to teams regarding imaging best practices and capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology, biomedical engineering technology, cardiovascular technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant laboratory or clinical experience in imaging or interventional settings.
  • Proven experience operating angiography, fluoroscopy, or interventional imaging systems within a cath lab or hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and radiation safety procedures, including ALARA principles.
  • Skilled in setting up, calibrating, troubleshooting, and maintaining imaging equipment and vascular models.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 15 pounds and wearing radiation PPE for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clinical and technical teams effectively.
