Position Overview:
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
- Our client is a fast-growing healthcare AI startup.
- They're hiring a Senior Implementation Manager to lead complex customer deployments from kickoff to go-live.
- Will own relationships with stakeholders from office managers to Chief Medical Officers.
- Will also help shape how the implementation function operates as it grows.
- This role suits someone who does well with autonomy and ambiguity and would rather build the playbook than follow one.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Complex Implementations: Run multi-stakeholder deployments on own, including new specialties, new products and multi-site rollouts on a 3-6 week deployment cycle.
- Own the customer relationship: Be the main point of contact through implementation. Build trust with stakeholders at every level and handle hard conversations with senior leaders.
- Run deployments with engineering: Partner with a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to turn customer needs into clear technical requirements.
- Improve the product: Analyze user behavior and customer outcomes to find high-impact improvements. Define solutions with engineering and product, then measure the results.
- Build new processes: Create scalable processes, best practices and systems that will keep working after move on.
- Automate the work: Design and build tools and workflows that lighten the operational load on the team.
- Work across teams: Coordinate with engineering, product, customer success and sales so handoffs are smooth and customers have a consistent experience.
- Build specialty expertise: Work in a POD aligned to specific medical specialties, going deep in that area and sharing what you learn with the team.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in consulting, implementation management or a similar post-sales role.
- A track record of owning complex, multi-stakeholder implementations end-to-end, ideally with enterprise, MSO or health system accounts.
- Experience turning business needs and customer feedback into actionable requirements for engineering teams.
- Confidence leading customer relationships and handling difficult conversations with executives such as CMOs and VPs.
- Experience building or managing internal tooling, such as dashboards, ticketing systems or reporting infrastructure.
- Proficiency with efficiency tools such as SQL, Claude Code, Retool or similar.
- A bachelor's degree.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience at a healthcare, health tech or AI company (healthcare AI is ideal).
- Familiarity with EHR systems (Epic, Athena, NextGen, eClinicalWorks) or VoIP platforms (RingCentral, Twilio).
Salary: $175,000 - $215,000 / Year
