If so, read on and come and join our team!Rexel Automation delivers motion and robotic solutions across Florida, partnering with leading OEMs to design, specify, and support practical automation systems for markets from packaging to space and entertainment.As a Mechatronic Specialist, you will work in the field and lab to expand our motion and robotics offerings across Florida. You'll serve as the technical resource for integrators and end users, collaborating with OEM partners and sales to design, demo, and support systems. You'll work with leading brands such as Rockwell (including the OTTO AMR launch), Doosan Robotics, and top gearbox and complementary product lines as we grow into new verticals. From supporting our manufacturing partners to developing our territory this is a fun and fast paced role. So, if you're ready to help expand our motion and robotics footprint in the region, we want to hear from you.What You'll Do Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offerDevelop sales strategies, promotions, programs, and plans for sales growthDevelop annual performance goals, objectives, and sales action plansPrepare periodic sales funnel, weekly sales reports, etc.Provide technical support for internal and external customers via on‑site visit, phone, and email. This could include, but is not limited to troubleshooting products, finding technical documentation and specifications, product selection and, other requested activitiesEstablish relationships with sales and customers to better understand sales potentialAscertain customer needs by customer visits, phone, and other means of research (internet, etc.)Work with sales to establish joint strategies and activitiesProvide expert knowledge to Inside Sales to facilitate quoting, order entry, and order expeditingCreate and present technical and commercial training for internal and external customersDescribe or demonstrate product to customersFollow up on all business leads assigned by management, marketing, technical department, or supplier partnersAcquire, use, and continuously develop personal technical knowledgeProvide oral and/or written quotations, proposals or estimates of prices, scope of work, terms, and deliveryWork with prospective customers to move projects through the sales cycle to conclusionProperly prepare for sales calls, customers events, etc.Work with Purchasing on proper inventory of high‑tech products and identify any potential obsolesce problemsActively participate in appropriate industry groupsMentor, train, and coach other Automation specialists.
