Job Summary
Senior Industrial Engineering Program Manager responsible for leading onsite Industrial Engineering teams supporting multiple manufacturing facilities. The role will drive industrial engineering programs, Lean transformation, productivity improvement, line balancing, work measurement, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments.
The position will serve as the key liaison between customer leadership, onsite teams, offshore resources, and cross-functional stakeholders while managing program governance, resource planning, risks, KPIs, delivery schedules, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Industrial Engineering teams supporting 4 5 manufacturing facilities.
- Manage time studies, work measurement, work breakdown, line balancing, and productivity improvement.
- Conduct video-based time studies and develop standardized work measurements.
- Perform Yamazumi-based line balancing, multi-model line balancing, and level loading.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, and TQM initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for labor optimization, automation, robotics, material flow, and digital manufacturing.
- Support assembly-line consolidation and high-flow manufacturing implementations.
- Develop SOPs, work instructions, and standardized operating methods.
- Identify opportunities for warehouse, inventory, routing, and material-flow optimization.
- Lead projects focused on quality improvement, cost reduction, productivity, and cycle-time reduction.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports to track project progress and value realization.
- Manage program governance, resource planning, risks, issues, schedules, and customer escalations.
- Coordinate effectively with onsite, offshore, engineering, operations, sales, and customer teams.
- Present project status, risks, achievements, and business outcomes to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across multiple plants.
- Support business growth by identifying opportunities for expanding engineering and transformation programs.
Required Skills
- 7 15 years of Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Strong experience in automotive, truck, or off-highway manufacturing.
- Experience managing multi-site Industrial Engineering programs or teams.
