Senior Industrial Maintenance Technologist — Manchester, PA

That’s a typical morning for our Senior Industrial Maintenance Technologist—someone who keeps equipment reliable and our people safe in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Your Impact, Day to Day
- Own preventative care: schedule and complete PMs, inspect assets, fine-tune settings, and handle component replacements before they fail.
- Troubleshoot with speed and rigor across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
- Jump on breakdowns and urgent calls; stabilize equipment and get to root cause.
- Document accurately: capture work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment history for traceability and improvement.
- Support installs and upgrades: assist with equipment installations, modifications, testing, and startups.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality to lift reliability, throughput, and product quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement; propose and implement process and equipment enhancements.
- Pitch in on shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects as needs shift.
- Keep the workspace orderly, compliant, and safe—every task, every time.
- Adhere to all safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, food production, or a closely related setting.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic ability.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
- Ability to read and apply blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient with hand/power tools, precision measurement, and diagnostic instruments.
- Self-starter who also collaborates well with others; organized and solutions-focused.
- Open to overtime, weekend, and holiday work as needed.
Preferred Credentials
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or vocational training in maintenance, mechatronics, industrial or electrical technology, or related fields.
- Exposure to PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls.
- Skilled-trade certifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Welding, etc.).
- Background in food manufacturing and familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Physical Demands & Work Setting
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
- Routinely lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Perform work at heights and occasionally within confined spaces.
- Wear assigned PPE consistently.
