14813 – Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Onsite) – Houston, TX

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Houston, TX.
• Experience with Enterprise infrastructure engineering or senior systems administration (7+ years).
• Experience with Windows Server.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with VMware vSphere.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Experience with Enterprise networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Experience with Hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Load Balancing.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Experience with GitHub source control and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with Enterprise networking - TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, firewall administration.
• Experience with Palo Alto and SonicWall firewalls.
• Experience with Enterprise storage technologies - VxRail, Vblock, Isilon/PowerScale, Data Domain, Avamar, Rubrik.
• Experience with Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Experience with Infrastructure lifecycle management, cloud migrations, cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability remediation, and operational monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
• Experience with Enterprise migrations from VMware-based environments to Google Cloud.
• Experience with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Build, Artifact Registry.
• Experience with GitOps methodologies and enterprise DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Monitoring platforms - SolarWinds Orion, Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar.
• Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) operational processes and change management.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNA.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, administer, and support highly available hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Engineer secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure supporting enterprise business applications.
• Administer Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, networking, and enterprise storage.
• Manage enterprise storage platforms including VxRail, Vblock, Isilon/PowerScale, Data Domain, and Avamar.
• Support Palo Alto and SonicWall firewalls and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Lead the migration of enterprise workloads from on-premises infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform.
• Design cloud architectures supporting hybrid connectivity, security, resiliency, and operational support.
