Senior Injection Mold Maker to join its tooling team.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a skilled mold maker who takes pride in precision workmanship and enjoys building, repairing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex plastic injection molds. Youll play a key role in keeping critical tooling performing at a high level while collaborating with Engineering, Tooling, Maintenance, and Production teams.

What You'll Do- Build, fit, assemble, and troubleshoot precision plastic injection molds
- Perform mold repairs, engineering changes, preventive maintenance, and refurbishments
- Diagnose tooling issues and implement corrective actions to improve mold performance and reliability
- Machine mold components using manual and CNC toolroom equipment
- Operate mills, lathes, surface grinders, EDM equipment, and related machinery
- Inspect mold components and verify critical dimensions to tight tolerances
- Assemble and test molds for proper fit, function, cooling, and ejection
- Work with cores, cavities, slides, lifters, ejector systems, cooling circuits, and mold mechanisms
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD-generated prints
- Support mold sampling, qualification, and production activities
- Document repairs, modifications, inspections, and tooling improvements
- Partner with Engineering, Tooling, Maintenance, and Production to improve manufacturability and mold performance
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and tooling reliability
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
What We're Looking ForRequired:- 5+ years of hands-on Mold Maker experience in a plastic injection molding environment
- Proven experience building, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molds
- Strong understanding of injection mold construction and function
- Experience with:
- Cores and cavities
- Slides and lifters
- Ejector systems
- Cooling circuits
- Mold actions and mechanisms
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD-generated prints
- Hands-on experience operating:
- Manual and CNC milling machines
- Lathes
- Surface grinders
- EDM equipment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards for quality and precision
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English
Preferred:- Technical trade school certification or apprenticeship training
- Experience with SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar CAD/CAM software
- Experience supporting medical devices or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of mold design, manufacturability, and tooling optimization
- Experience with tight-tolerance precision tooling
