Position Summary:
The Senior Instructional Designer/Technologist manages the university’s learning management system (D2L-Brightspace) and related educational technologies to create, design, enhance, and support effective learning experiences. The senior technologist is a key member of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and reports to the director of the CETL department.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of three years’ direct experience working with instructional technologies at an accredited institution is required.
A suitable combination of education and experience may be substituted for minimum qualifications.
Preferred Education:
Completed master's level coursework is preferred. A master's degree in an educational technology field or a related discipline is strongly preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
1. Work is primarily indoors but requires the incumbent to be in an outdoor environment when traveling between campus buildings or off campus.
2. Standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
3. Some off-campus, state and regional travel may be required.
4. Attendance at some evening and weekend events may be required.
5. Incumbent will be exposed to frequent noise caused by telephones and office machines.
