Position Summary:
The Senior Instructional Designer/Technologist manages the university's learning management system (D2L-Brightspace) and related educational technologies to create, design, enhance, and support effective learning experiences. The senior technologist is a key member of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and reports to the director of the CETL department.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of three years' direct experience working with instructional technologies at an accredited institution is required.
A suitable combination of education and experience may be substituted for minimum qualifications.
Preferred Education:
Completed master''s level coursework is preferred. A master''s degree in an educational technology field or a related discipline is strongly preferred.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Work is primarily indoors but requires the incumbent to be in an outdoor environment when traveling between campus buildings or off campus.
Standard office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Some off-campus, state and regional travel may be required.
Attendance at some evening and weekend events may be required.
Incumbent will be exposed to frequent noise caused by telephones and office machines.
