## LocationRemote / Hybrid (Flexible Scheduling Available) ## Employment TypePart-Time | Contract | Consulting Opportunities Available ## About the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished educational leader to serve as our Senior Instructor, Educational Leadership & District Management and lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive 15-week professional development program designed for current and aspiring principals, superintendents, district administrators, and educational leaders.This role combines curriculum development, live instruction, leadership coaching, and assessment design to strengthen leadership capacity across educational systems. The ideal candidate is a seasoned administrator with deep expertise in strategic planning, organizational leadership, school and district management, and professional learning.This position offers an opportunity to shape the next generation of educational leaders through practical, research-based instruction and personalized mentorship. ## Key Responsibilities### Course Design & Instruction * Design and deliver a 15-week professional development course (3 instructional hours per week). * Develop engaging curriculum covering: * Educational leadership theories * Strategic school and district management * Organizational leadership * Professional development systems * Change management * Collaborative culture building * Create comprehensive case studies, simulations, and real-world leadership scenarios grounded in current educational research and best practices. * Facilitate interactive workshops, group discussions, and collaborative learning experiences. * Coordinate guest speakers and educational leadership experts to provide practical insights and diverse perspectives.### Coaching & Leadership Development * Conduct up to 10 individual coaching sessions with participants throughout the program. * Provide personalized feedback on leadership projects, strategic plans, case study analyses, and professional learning initiatives. * Mentor emerging leaders as they apply course concepts to real-world school and district challenges. * Hold weekly office hours to support participant growth and engagement.### Assessment & Program Quality * Design formative and summative assessments aligned with program learning objectives. * Collaborate with instructional support staff to develop grading rubrics and evaluation standards. * Monitor participant progress and provide actionable feedback. * Evaluate program effectiveness using participant feedback, assessment outcomes, and learning data. * Continuously update curriculum based on emerging research, educational trends, and participant needs. ## Required Qualifications * Master's degree in Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, Education Policy, or a related field. * Minimum of 7 years of experience in educational administration, including roles such as: * Principal * Assistant Superintendent * Superintendent * District Administrator * Director of Instruction * Educational Leadership Consultant * Demonstrated expertise in: * School and district leadership * Strategic planning * Organizational development * Change management * Educational improvement initiatives * Strong instructional design and facilitation skills. * Experience developing and delivering professional development programs for educators and leaders. * Exceptional communication, presentation, and coaching abilities. ## Preferred Qualifications * Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing emerging educational leaders. * Background in data-driven decision-making, accountability systems, and performance management. * Knowledge of CTLE (Continuing Teacher and Leader Education) requirements. * Experience working in diverse, urban, rural, or high-needs educational settings. * Doctoral degree (Ed.D. or Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership, A
