The Opportunity
Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls professional to lead major nuclear/power generation projects with teams of I&C engineers and assist in the technical design, procurement, planning and coordination for Power Plants. Black & Veatch (B&V) is engaged in a variety of engineering and design activities in support of the addition of power plants in North America and around the world including Small Modular Reactors (SMR). This work entails studies, procurement, design for power plants including the Balance of Plant systems required for support. Instrumentation and controls professionals are needed to work as part of our team. Professionals will be integrated into our existing teams based on their expertise and experience. Work Environment and Schedule
This position would require working in a typical office environment. The position may entail prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, and the professional would ideally be able to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday. The position may also require physical tasks during site visits, including crouching, grasping, and standing/walking for extended periods of time. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
