Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively searching for a Senior Instrumentation Engineer for our client’s operation near Reading, PA, Kansas City, or Charlotte locations (Remote will be considered). This is a contract position with competitive pay. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on state-of-the-art projects.

The Senior Instrumentation Engineer will provide instrumentation and controls engineering services to company and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the instrumentation and controls engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Instrumentation Engineering discipline experience in the Power industry.
• Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work.
• A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the instrumentation and controls engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
• A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Competent use of instrumentation and controls engineering specific software.
• Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
• Substantial technical and practical experience in instrumentation and controls engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• BS or MS in related field or applicable discipline, typically an engineering degree; or equivalent experience if allowed by law.

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States is preferred.
