Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney
Location: Dallas, TX
Overview
I am working directly with the owners of a well-established Texas law firm that is seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its carrier-side insurance coverage practice. This role works closely with the shareholder who leads the group and offers a clear path for long-term growth and partnership within a firm that prioritizes balance and sustainability. The firm is committed to providing sophisticated coverage work within a balanced environment, offering realistic expectations and built-in flexibility.
The salary for this role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience
What We Need
- 7+ years of carrier-side insurance coverage experience
- Deep experience with first-party and third-party coverage analysis and litigation
- Ability to draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and denial letters
- Experience handling declaratory judgment actions and related coverage litigation
- Proven ability to manage matters from inception through resolution, including mediation
- Licensed and in good standing in Texas
- Capacity to work independently with minimal oversight
- Genuine interest in long-term growth and partnership
