IDR is seeking a Senior Integration Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Lansing, MI. This role involves leading the design and development of enterprise API and integration solutions within a government agency environment. The organization is focused on delivering scalable, secure, and reliable API services to support critical state operations.
Position Overview for the Senior Integration Developer:
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise API and integration solutions
- Design, develop, and manage APIs using IBM API Connect and related middleware technologies
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, solution designs, and implementation plans
- Develop scalable REST and SOAP services aligned with enterprise architecture standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration
Requirements for the Senior Integration Developer:
- 10+ years of experience in integration, API development, and middleware technologies
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (APIC)
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions
- Strong experience designing and developing REST and SOAP services
