Your Opportunity
The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for advancing the design portfolio of Stantec's Austin interiors practice. The ideal candidate will have exceptional design skills, a background in architecture or design, and a portfolio of innovating workplace design concepts. As a Stantec Interior Designer, you are passionate about your craft, combine creativity and technical knowledge with business skills, and understand how to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Innovation in architecture and design;
- Lead interior design teams on workplace projects;
- Collaborate on workplace interiors projects including workplace strategy, programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development and management of budgets and schedules;
- Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents;
- Participate in the selection of furniture systems and specifications;
- Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specification and material selections required for construction;
- Work with consultants, corporate real estate teams, developers, furniture dealers, product reps and fabricators to meet overall project objectives;
- Assist in managing client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination;
- Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs;
- Participate in business development and marketing efforts;
