Position Description & QualificationsSerco, Inc. is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join their Internal Audit Team as an Internal Auditor (Senior Auditor) – in Herndon, VA. In this role you will work on internal audits and advisory reviews of diverse Federal and State government agency contracts as well as corporate support functions (HR, Finance, Procurement, etc). The scope of the engagements will include areas such as compliance with customer contracts, company policies & procedures, accounting standards, government guidelines, and laws & regulations.This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in corporate headquarters. Flexible work arrangements are available on a case-by-case basis.As a senior internal auditor you will be the day‑to‑day / on‑the‑ground leader for the audit lifecycle from planning to reporting. You will independently assess the design and operating effectiveness of financial, operational and compliance processes and controls over key risks. You will work hand in hand with management to identify viable improvements and prioritize action in the areas of highest risk.
