As an equal‑opportunity workplace and affirmative‑action employer, we celebrate and support a diverse workplace for the benefit of all: our employees, customers and communities.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing and/or leading operational, financial, and compliance audits in accordance with the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF); achieving goals as established by the Internal Audit Plan; complying with departmental policies, procedures, and standards; communicating with appropriate personnel and clients; and maintaining suitable documentation of work performed. Work independently and collaboratively providing objective assurance on the effectiveness of the organizations business processes. Provide consultative recommendations for improvements in effectiveness and efficiencies. In accordance with the Department's values, maintain professionalism, integrity and objectivity, ensuring strict code of ethics and corporate confidentiality.In coordination with audit management and staff, perform internal audits to determine compliance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, guidance, and Institute of Internal Audit standards.Perform testwork and document results via accurate, detailed workpapers.Lead audits as assigned by leading teams through successful planning and completion of quality work performed within budgeted time allocation.Review internal controls, policies and procedures for effectiveness.Assess complex activities to identify potential operational, financial or compliance risks.Identify opportunities for use of data analytics.Develop preliminary findings and recommendations to improve/enhance internal control environment.Draft and present reports of audit conclusions, recommendations and action plans.Perform follow up and review for implementation of action plans.Research and review audit areas providing suggested revisions to audit programs.Coordinate and assist with external auditors during financial statement, co‑sourced, or outsourced audits.Interact with company management and key personnel to build and maintain ongoing business relationships by utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.Perform special audits, projects or handle specific administrative tasks as assigned by Audit Management.Strive to achieve individual and department goals as established.Position requires 20‑25% travel.QualificationsB.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required; CIA, CPA, CFRIS designation preferred.Must be 18 years of age or older.#J-18808-Ljbffr
