Senior Internal Auditor

Job Title and CompensationAuditor 3 (Audit Family, Full time)Maximum annual pay depends on experience ($90,000.00 USD). Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year; DOE.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.Job SummaryResponsible for conducting intermediate to complex internal audits and assessments, reviewing processes, systems and related data, and identifying areas of improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead internal audit projects focused on financial, operational, and compliance areas of the university.Interact with key process owners and leaders across the university.Assess the effectiveness of the control environment and provide value‑added recommendations.Execute risk‑based control assessments and perform data collection and analytics.Conduct audit interviews, prepare detailed work papers, and support testing.Communicate audit findings and lead discussions on observations and recommendations.Write audit reports, coordinate audit responses with leaders across the enterprise.Manage projects to maintain scope, milestones, and resource budgets.Lead special projects and support the overall audit team.Desired QualificationsCurrent CIA or CISA certification or willingness to obtain.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience in data analytics.Experience in higher education.Work EnvironmentStandard office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.LocationTempe Campus.FundingNo Federal Funding.EEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other basis protected by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
