Job Description:

As a Senior IT Auditor, you will help ensure that our information security protocols support Wegmans business objectives, meet or exceed best practices, are consistent with industry and regulatory standards and follow company-wide policies and internal controls to manage risk to the company's information assets.

What You'll Do

• Perform in-depth technical analysis and testing of all related technologies to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness
• Use data analysis tools to automate testing; develop techniques for continuous auditing and analyzing large volumes of data
• Gather, interpret, and provide effective documentation of audit evidence including the ability to maintain documentation of observations, conclusions, recommendations, maintain summaries and index with cross-referencing for supervisory review
• Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and develop actionable recommendations for management
• Perform audit engagements as directed; identify, analyze, evaluate, and record the design and operating effectiveness of data controls as well as communicate recommendations effectively
• Assist management in assessing the risks across functional areas

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 3+ years' experience of auditing or equivalent
• 3+ years' experience in analyzing large amounts of data
• Professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of operation systems and database technology used in mid-to-large IT organizations

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Member of professional organization: ISACA and/or IIA
