As a Senior Inventory Control Analyst, you will strive to exceed customer expectations by serving as a member of the Inventory Control team on reorder policy excellence, ERP item and location maintenance, cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, generating and analyzing pertinent reports, and maintaining multi-system accuracy, operations, and controls. The inventory control analyst will assist in establishing and maintaining all supply inventories enterprise-wide and will handle complex MMIS/ERP issues and support training for new team members across cross-functional teams. As an inventory control analyst, handling confidential and time-sensitive material is a key responsibility. Proficiency in various field-specific concepts, practices, and procedures is essential for success in this role. Essential Functions: - Monitors, updates, maintains, and audits materials management modules within the Supply Chain ERP system.
- Conduct regression testing for ERP/Materials Management module updates as required.
- Performs global item changes for locations as necessary.
- Creates and maintains item location set up in the ERP system and Warehouse Management System as necessary.
- Provides support for software integrated with the ERP system.
- Performs physical bin audits and cycle counts.
- Monitors, influences, and generates replenishment orders for Purchasing based on data analytics and forecast modeling.
- Generate and analyze reports as needed to illuminate any challenges or trends.
- Utilizes applicable reports from the existing ERP system to track and monitor data critical to the appropriate and efficient operation of holistic supply management organization-wide.
- Generate and analyze reports to illuminate any challenges and proactive identification of supply shortages, inventory errors, or excess stock.
- Research changes, abnormalities, and discrepancies to take appropriate action or develop recommended action for leadership consideration.
- Utilizes applicable reports from the existing ERP system or manually generated reports to track and monitor data critical to the appropriate and efficient operation of holistic supply management organization-wide.
- Generates and organizes data for physical inventory counts and completes thorough research of inventory gaps and discrepancies.
- Reconciles all inventory counts and makes necessary adjustments while communicating justifications for adjustments to leadership.
- Participates in project teams as a team member or leader, as required.
- Maintain detailed documentation of processes, changes, and improvements.
- Provide elevated support to our customers and team by working diligently to complete processes on a timely basis.
- Other duties as required to support department operations.
