Under the direction of the Director of Equal Employment Opportunity, the Senior Investigator & Compliance Specialist provide senior-level oversight of civil rights compliance procedures, complaint resolution processes, and institutional equity/accessibility initiatives for assigned CT State Community College campuses and presidents. This role manages formal investigations, supports informal resolution pathways, and ensures procedural integrity across training, equal employment opportunities, and internal audits.
The Senior Investigator and Compliance Specialist collaborates with campus leadership and other internal and external stakeholders to uphold legal and procedural standards and contributes to strategic compliance reporting in accordance with CSCU Policies 4.13 and 4.05, and Connecticut General Statutes and Federal Civil Rights laws including but not limited to laws prohibiting discrimination based on protected classes, including CFEPA, Title VII, Title VI, Title IX, ADA, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Rehabilitation Act, and GINA.

Master’s degree with four (4) or more years or a Bachelor’s degree with six (6) or more years of experience in civil rights compliance, accessibility coordination, or related roles. Two (2) years of experience managing and leading projects.
