The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to support a prestigious Boston-based organization on a high-impact technology initiative focused on enterprise systems, integrations, and capital projects.

Not open to C2C or third party agencies.  No Visa sponsorship for this role. 

This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on Business Analyst who excels at bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, leading solution design efforts, and supporting the delivery of scalable technology solutions across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, use cases, and technical specifications.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
Solution Design & Systems Integration
  • Lead initiatives involving system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data exchange solutions.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, system maps, and future-state designs.
  • Participate in solution design sessions and provide recommendations for scalable, sustainable technology solutions.
Project Delivery & Implementation Support
  • Support software implementations, upgrades, and enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Assist with vendor evaluations, RFP processes, and technology assessments.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance activities, including test case development and validation.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to business analysis best practices, standards, and documentation frameworks.
  • Facilitate communication across project teams, leadership, vendors, and business units.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting enterprise systems and technology initiatives.
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with business process analysis, process modeling, and solution documentation.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • API integrations
    • System interoperability
    • Middleware technologies
    • Enterprise application ecosystems
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts, including:
    • Networks
    • Servers
    • Cloud platforms
    • Security principles
  • Experience with tools such as:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Visio
    • Lucidchart
    • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, ITIL, TOGAF, or similar certifications.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as:
    • Workday
    • ServiceNow
    • Salesforce
    • SAP
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies including Azure and AWS.
  • Exposure to Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery practices.

Pay: $69.93–$90.91 per hour DOE
