Job Title: Senior IT Interface Analyst
Location: Troy, MI (Remote with occasional onsite presence around Go-Live dates)
Duration: 32 Weeks (Contract-to-Hire)
Shift Hours: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 7 years of applicable IT experience; 5+ years in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Current or obtainable certification in Epic Bridges within 6 months of hire.
  • Current or obtainable certification in Cloverleaf Interface Engine (v20.1 or higher) within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong experience with Epic Bridges, Cloverleaf, HL7, XML, and ANSI X12 messaging standards.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies and healthcare integration projects.
  • Participation in at least two major system implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows, medical terminology, and integration architecture.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior analysts preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Epic Tapestry Utilization Management and/or Case Management.
  • Epic Tapestry Appeals & Grievances.
  • Membership, Eligibility, and Enrollment Administration.
  • Provider Management and Provider/Vendor Contract Management.
  • Epic Business Intelligence Developer (BID).
  • Epic Clarity SQL development.
  • Epic Cogito and Caboodle Data Model experience.
  • Reporting Workbench report and extract development.
  • Medicare line of business knowledge.
  • Shared Provider/Payer Epic environment experience.
  • SQL and/or PL/SQL development experience.

Job Description:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of new interfaces and enhancements for Epic applications and connected ancillary systems.
  • Develop, configure, and support integrations using Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf interface engine technologies.
  • Troubleshoot interface issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions for production and non-production environments.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
  • Coordinate with application analysts, operations teams, vendors, and technical stakeholders to ensure successful interface deployments.
  • Lead workflow and dataflow discussions with business users and document resulting system requirements.
  • Design, configure, and implement system enhancements, workflow improvements, and automated business rules.
  • Monitor and maintain a complex healthcare interface environment to ensure reliable system performance.
  • Manage medium-to-complex integration issues and provide support for Epic and related healthcare applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance, incident resolution, testing, and system validation activities.
  • Collaborate with Epic application teams, ancillary departments, operational leadership, and external vendors to resolve interface-related issues.
  • Provide consultation on integration architecture, interface design standards, and best practices.
  • Estimate project effort, resource requirements, and timelines for integration initiatives.
  • Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions for end users and support teams when needed.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior Interface Analysts, supporting team development and technical growth.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational customer service standards, teamwork expectations, and quality initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.
