Senior IT Project Manager - AV/Networking

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager - AV/Networking who will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of a project which with specified deliverables. Responsibilities:

• Define the scope of the project in collaboration with other staff members
• Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
• Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
• Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
• Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
• Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
• Staff the project which includes interview and selection process
• Manage project staff
• Execute the project according to the project plan
• Develop forms and records to document project activities
• Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
• Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
• Evaluate the project and make recommendations as needed

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required
• PMP certified preferred
• 10+ years of experience in technical delivery or project management, with a focus on infrastructure, office relocations and AV/Network deployments
• Proven ability to manage timelines for projects
• Strong Knowledge or Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of IT project delivery methodologies
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Excel, PowerBI, and related software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with high attention to detail and the capacity to make data driven decisions while managing multiple projects in dynamic environments
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency
