IDR is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Irving, Texas. This role involves leading multiple enterprise-level projects within a manufacturing industry setting, requiring a mature project management approach and technical expertise. The company operates in an industrial sector, emphasizing fast-paced project delivery and stakeholder collaboration.
Position Overview for the IT Project Manager:
- Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple technical projects, coordinating requirements, status reporting, and collaboration with business analysts and developers.
- Serve as a primary contact for stakeholders, leading meetings and ensuring clear communication on project timelines, sprint planning, and scrum activities.
- Manage project tools such as Smartsheets, Jira, and budget tracking to ensure timely and within-budget project execution.
- Support documentation creation and testing requirements as a Business Analyst, contributing to project quality and success measures.
- Work in a hybrid environment with 3-4 days onsite per week at the Irving location, starting immediately.
Requirements for the IT Project Manager:
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive experience requirement gathering and working with internal & external stakeholders to lead urgent timebound technical projects.
- Experience using Smartsheets, Jira, budget tracking, and IT audit tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
- Must be a proactive, client-visible communicator comfortable with stakeholder engagement and technical coordination.
