Senior IT Project Manager

We’re partnering with a mission-driven organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale technology programs and drive successful delivery of strategic initiatives. Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation through delivery and post-launch support)
• Define scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource plans
• Manage project budgets, resources, and overall performance
• Drive stakeholder engagement and provide clear, data-driven status updates
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects stay on track
• Oversee vendors and third-party partners to ensure quality delivery
• Implement best practices in project management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement

Required skills and qualifications:

• 4–7+ years of experience managing technology projects/programs
• Strong experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with external vendors
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with project tracking, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have:

• PMP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications
• Experience in education, public sector, or policy-driven environments

Compensation:

The Salary range for this position is from $95k to $110k, depending on experience.
