Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a Tier 1 vendor for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and we are recruiting for an experienced, IT Project Manager, affiliated with the downtown Chattanooga office.

TargetW2 Pay Rate: Up to $90.00/hour (time and a half for overtime)
Target Start Date: 06/15/2026

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OVERALL PLANNING, DIRECTION, MANAGEMENT, COORDINATION, IMPLEMENTATION, EXECUTION, CONTROL, AND COMPLETION OF SPECIFIC PROJECTS ACCORDING TO SPECIFICATIONS.
LEADS JOINT PROJECT TEAMS.
MANAGE AND CONTROL PROJECT SCHEDULE, COST AND PERFORMANCE RISK TO ENSURE PROJECT IS COMPLETED WITHIN A CERTAIN SET OF RESTRAINTS (TIME, BUDGET, PEOPLE, QUALITY, MATERIALS).
THIS ROLE SERVES AS THE SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT AND IS GENERALLY ASSIGNED MEDIUM SIZE PROJECTS, OR FUNCTIONS WITHIN A LARGER PROJECT.
CAPABILITY TO MANAGE PROJECT BUDGET OVER $25 MILLION, OR A PORTFOLIO OF PROJECTS THAT HAVE AN AGGREGATE TOTAL OVER $75 MILLION FOR ALL ACTIVE PROJECTS ASSIGNED.

Education / Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
5 - 10 years of utility project manager experience preferred (equivalent experience with increasing levels of position responsibility in leading project teams is appropriate).
Requires knowledge of project management techniques, experience to resolve complex problems, and practical experience in project scoping and cost estimating.
Requires ability to analyze in-depth technical problems and determine the most cost-effective solution.
Experience with large scale project execution.
Familiarity with Identity and Access Management principles and functionality.
Project Management Professional (PMI/PMP) certification is preferred.
